How to correct translation mistakes?

There are some phrases that are outdated. For example in english “Circuit Overseer” not change, but in russian “Circuit Overseer” → “Circuit elder” (word to word translation).
“Районный надзиратель” → “Районный старейшина”

How can I edit the translation file?
